By purchasing or downloading Stacker ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to install and use Stacker on a single computer you own or control. Each license is valid for one platform — Windows or Mac. A separate license is required for each platform.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the Software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. You may not share your license key with others.
Your purchase includes all future updates to Stacker. Updates are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed on any schedule.
Stacker is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your music files before using the Software.
In no event shall Stacker or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software, including any data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid.

When you purchase Stacker, our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) collects your name, email address, and payment information to complete the transaction. We receive your email address and purchase record.
Stacker the application runs entirely on your local machine. It does not transmit your music files, file names, or any usage data to us or any third party.
We use your email address to deliver your license key, send important product updates, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
Stacker validates your license key on first launch. After validation, the app stores a local record and does not require an internet connection to operate.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Their privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information. We do not store credit card or banking details.

If Stacker does not work as described on your computer, email us within 7 days of your purchase date with a description of the issue. We will either resolve the issue or refund your purchase in full within 2 business days.
Refunds are not issued for change of mind after the software has been used to organize files. By using Stacker to organize your music library, you acknowledge that the software has performed its intended function.
Email hello@stackersorter.com with your order number and a description of the technical issue you experienced. We will respond within 1 business day. Your license key will be deactivated upon refund.
Refunds requested after 7 days are handled on a case-by-case basis for genuine technical failures only. If you are experiencing a technical issue at any time, please contact us first — we would rather fix it than refund it. Email hello@stackersorter.com.
